PURPOSE
NarrowGate LEADERSHIP exists to build compassion, competence and capacity in individuals and communities of faith such that they respond well to:
> loss and grief,
> interpersonal and/or institutional conflict,
> complex and competing agendas.
PRINCIPAL
With both a graduate and post-graduate degree from Queen's University (Kingston, ON) - one of Canada's premier universities, and more than 30 years companioning people and communities of faith through the events of life, NarrowGate's principal is G. David King.
Known for his approachability, deep compassion, defined sense of self, keen wit, and a core belief that healthy relationships require both attention and intention, David is a strategic navigator who listens closely, reads non-verbal cues accurately, thinks critically, acts decisively, coaches from a strengths-building framework, and speaks with a confidence born of both education and life experience.
Bedrocking David's work is the conviction that life-giving choices are always possible if there's 'the will', 'the way', and 'the awareness'.
With NarrowGate, you supply the will; we'll share the awareness and the way!
PRACTICE
Drawing on an array of methodologies and models, professional experience, acknowledged best practices, and a desire to equip individuals and communities of faith with relational skills specific to overcoming dysfunction, misunderstanding, and hurt, NarrowGate stands ready to nurture and support others seeking wholesome and healthy relationships.
